PHON Instrument - MAX MSP

I developed Sketch A Sound in MAX MSP specifically for live improvisation purposes. This application features six identical tracks capable of loading audio files directly from disc via a drop down menu.

Each track offers comprehensive control over various audio parameters, allowing for intricate layered textures. Sketch A Sound is not synchronized to any time grid which allows for more expressive and unique results. 

Additionally, tracks can be routed to effects buses to incorporate synchronized delay or reverb into the signal path. The application supports recording outputs in stereo format or as multi-channel recordings, ensuring flexibility in capturing live performances.
